A man has been charged over the theft of electricity totalling $400,000, according to SA Police.
Eastern Adelaide CIB detectives today arrested and charged a 40-year-old Gilles Plains man with seven counts of theft of electricity. It will be alleged the man diverted electricity at a number of business premises over a nine-year period.
Detectives were assisted in the investigation by SA Power Network.
The arrested man was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 2 September.
