A man has been charged with weapon offences under Operation Foil 2.
About 6:15am on Friday 4 July 2025, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a house on Portland Crescent, Maroubra.
Officers allegedly located two high powered defence devices (finger stun guns) inside the premises. They were seized for forensic examination.
A 57-year-old man was arrested and taken to Maroubra Police Station where he was charged with two counts of purchase prohibited weapon without permit and possess prohibited weapon.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 30 July 2025.
