Man charged with drink driving after crash in Blacktown

A man has been charged with drink driving after crashing into two cars and a house in Sydney’s west, NSW Police say.

About 11.25pm today, a 21-year-old man was driving a Mitsubishi Magna on Douglas Road, Blacktown, when it left the road and hit two vehicles which were parked in the driveway of a home.

The vehicle then hit the home, causing damage. The driver was uninjured.

Police from Blacktown Local Area Command attended, and the driver, who was the sole occupant, was arrested after failing a breath test.

He was taken to Blacktown Police Station where he failed a breath analysis. He was charged with mid range drink driving, and his provisional licence was suspended.

He is expected to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 20 July 2017.
