Man charged with drug offences following search warrant in Wyoming

Police have charged a man with drug offences following the execution of a search warrant on the state’s Central Coast last month, NSW Police say.

Just before 9am on Tuesday 2 August 2016, police attached to Brisbane Water TAG executed a search warrant at a unit on Orange Parade, Wyoming.

Inside, police allegedly located a hydroponic set up and eight cannabis plants which were seized for forensic examination.

Following investigations, about 2.30pm on Friday yesterday, police attended the unit on Orange Parade and spoke to a 43-year-old man.

The man allegedly resisted arrest, before being taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was charged with cultivate prohibited plant and resist arrest.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 27 September 2016
