Man charged with drug offences in North Albury

A man has been charged with drug offences after a search warrant in North Albury today, NSW Police say.

About 11.40am today, officers attached to Albury Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Wingara Street, North Albury.

During the search, officers allegedly located drugs, believed to be cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash.

Police will allege the items including scales and clip seal bags were used for the distribution of drugs.

A 36-year-old man was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug and deal in proceeds of crime.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Tuesday 19 September 2017.
