Man charged with drug supply in Petersham

A man has been charged after he allegedly supplied prohibited drugs to a woman who later died, NSW Police say.

On the evening of Saturday 4 June 2016, a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman attended a music event in Petersham together.

Following inquiries, the man was today issued with a future court attendance notice for the offence of supply prohibited drug.

He is due to appear in Newtown Local Court on Monday 10 October 2016.

Inquiries into the incident continue.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
