A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man at a health facility in Morisset yesterday, NSW Police say.
Shortly after 6.40pm today, emergency services were called to the location in Jacaranda Avenue following the discovery of a deceased man who appeared to have suffered a stab wound.
Police from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Following inquiries by detectives at the scene, a 25-year-old man was arrested nearby.
He was taken to Belmont Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He was refused bail and will appear in Belmont Local Court tomorrow.
