Missing Persons Squad detectives have today charged a 31-year-old man following the disappearance of a 30-year-old Albanvale man, Victoria Police say.
David Whimpey was last seen seen about 2am near a hotel on the Old Calder Highway in Keilor on 24 October 2016.
His body was located by police at a property near Lake Eppaloch on Monday 24 April.
A St Albans man was interviewed yesterday and charged with one count of murder today.
He will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 3 May.
