Police have charged a man with murder following the death of a man in Sydney’s south yesterday, NSW Police say.
Just after 6am (Saturday 13 January 2018), police were called to Forest Road, near Hurstville Railway Station, following reports a man had been stabbed.
On arrival, officers from St George Local Area Command located the body of a 56-year-old man.
A 29-year-old man was arrested nearby and taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He was refused bail and is due to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 14 January 2018).
