Man charged with stalking and entering enclosed lands in Lismore

A man has appeared in court charged with stalking and entering enclosed lands at Lismore last week, NSW Police say.

About 7.45pm (4 September 2017), a 35-year-old man approached a house in Laurel Avenue and attempted to enter the house several times, occupied by two women aged 23 and 30-years old.

The incident was reported to police.

In a second incident, it is alleged about 12.30pm on Saturday 9 September 2017, the same man attended a house in Dalziel Street, Lismore. He walked through the front door uninvited and left shortly afterwards.

The man returned to the house later that evening and attempted to gain entry by knocking on the doors and windows around the house.

Police attended and arrested the man. He was taken to Lismore Police Station and charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm and enter enclosed land without lawful excuse x 5.

He was refused bail and appeared in Lismore Bail Court on 10 September 2017. He was refused bail at court and will reappear in Lismore Local Court today.
