Man critical after Leumeah house fire, NSW

A man has been hospitalised following a house fire at Leumeah overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to a home on Telford Street just before 11pm today, where they found the house well alight.

Police have been told, the 75-year-old male occupant, had left the home before collapsing.

Fire & Rescue NSW performed CPR until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics. The man was taken to Concord Hospital in a critical condition.

Fire fighters extinguished the blaze which had caused considerable damage to the home.

Officers from Campbelltown Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene; however, the fire is not being treated as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
