Man critical after semi crash in Gloucester

A man is in a critical condition after his semi-trailer crashed west of Gloucester overnight, NSW Police say.

About 11pm yesterday, a semi-trailer was travelling east on Thunderbolts Way, about 50km from Gloucester, when it rolled.

The driver, a 46-year-old man, was trapped for more than two hours before being released.

He was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Manning/Great Lakes Local Area Command have commenced an investigation into the crash.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
