A man is in a critical condition following a stabbing in Sydney's inner west overnight.
About 10.45pm last night (Thursday 7 August 2025), emergency services were called to a park on Chapman Road, Annandale, following reports of an assault.
Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command attended and found six men with a range of injuries.
Police were told the men were assaulted by a group of four unknown males following an argument.
All six men were treated the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
One of the men – aged 21 – suffered stab wounds. He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
Two other men were taken to the same hospital, while another two were taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
The sixth man did not require transportation to hospital.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, a 15-year-old boy was arrested in Annandale about 12.15am (Friday 8 August 2025). He was taken to Newtown Police Station.
