An investigation is underway after a man died following an assault at Lurnea tonight, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to a park on Morison Drive and Hill Road at Lurnea about 4.45pm (Sunday 12 August 2018), after reports two men were fighting.
When police arrived, they found a man seriously injured and commenced CPR.
NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and treated the man before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he died.
A crime scene was established by officers from Liverpool Police Area Command.
Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
