Man dies after being found critically injured in Granville home

A man has died after being found critically injured in a home at Granville earlier tonight.

Emergency services were called to a home on Blaxcell Street about 7.30pm (Saturday 23 November 2019), found a man was found seriously injured.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he died.

A woman was also found injured at the scene and has also been taken to Westmead Hospital. Her condition is described as stable.

A crime scene has been established at the home and officers from Cumberland Police Area Command are now investigating the circumstances surrounding how they came to be injured.

Police are investigating the possibility that this is a domestic-violence related incident.
