A man has died after being pulled from the water on the south coast.
About 5.40pm (Monday 13 February 2023), emergency services were called to a rock pool on Blowhole Point Road, Kiama, following reports a man had been pulled from the surf unresponsive.
Witnesses commenced CPR before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; however, he could not be revived.
The man is yet to be formally identified but believed to be aged in his 60s.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District attended and have commenced inquiries into the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
