A driver has died following a crash involving a bus and car on the state's Central Coast.
Just before 7.30pm on Wednesday 7 January 2026, emergency services were called to Scenic Drive, Colongra, following reports of a collision between a bus and car.
The driver of the car – believed to be a 26-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The male driver of the bus was not injured, and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Aside from the drivers, there were no other occupants in either vehicle.
Officers attached to Traffic & Highway Patrol Command assisted by Tuggerah Lakes Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the crash.
