Man Dies After Crash In Sydney Harbour Bridge

A man has died after a crash on the Sydney Harbour Bridge this afternoon.

About 12.40pm (Saturday 18 July 2026), emergency services were called to the Bradfield Highway, Sydney Harbour Bridge, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command attended and were told two vehicles had collided.

NSW Ambulance paramedics and police performed CPR on a driver – a man aged in his 70s – before he was stabilised and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

There were no other injuries reported.

Police have now been advised the man has died in hospital; he is yet to be formally identified.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
