Man dies after crash in Tarneit

A man has died in hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Tarneit on Monday, 7 February.

It's believed a black sedan was travelling along Tarneit Road when it crashed near the intersection of Ankuri Road about 2am on Monday, 7 February.

The car then burst into flames.

Emergency services responded and extinguished the fire before transporting the sole male occupant to hospital with critical injuries.

Sadly, the 19-year-old Tarneit man has since died.

Police are investigating the crash and urge anyone who witnessed the sedan travelling in the lead up to the incident to come forward.
