Police have arrested a man over an alleged domestic violence-related assault in Liverpool this morning, NSW Police say.
Just before 10.30am today, emergency services have been called to Memorial Avenue, following reports a man in his 80s had been attacked.
He died at the scene.
Police attached to Liverpool Local Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating.
A man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station.
Inquiries continue.
