Man Dies After E-bike Crash - Queens Park

A man has died after an e-bike crash in the Sydney's east yesterday.

About 6pm yesterday (Sunday 31 May 2026), emergency services were called to the intersection of Newland Street and Birrell Street, Queens Park, following reports of a man with serious injuries.

On arrival, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command located a 60-year-old man being treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics with facial injuries.

Police were told he was riding an e-bike before he had lost control and falling onto the roadway.

He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition however, he died at the hospital.

A crime scene has been established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.

The e-bike was seized to be forensically examined.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
