Man dies after fatal crash - Revesby

A man has died after a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's south-west.

About 4.30pm on Friday (19 January 2024), emergency services were called to Canterbury Road, Revesby, following reports of a crash.

On arrival, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command located a motorcycle and a white SUV, both damaged.

Despite CPR administered by bystanders, the rider – a 23-year-old man – died at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Bankstown hospital for mandatory testing.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
