Man Dies After Hit-run In Dandenong

Police are investigating after a man was struck by a car in Dandenong last night.

It is alleged a white Toyota Yaris struck the victim on McCrae Street before driving off about 9.30pm.

The Toyota allegedly returned to the scene before driving off again shortly after.

Emergency services worked on the yet-to-be-formally identified man who died at the scene.

Shortly after, investigators located the Toyota and arrested a man in relation to the incident.

The 24-year-old Lynbrook man was interviewed by police and released pending further enquiries.
