Man dies after single vehicle crash at Rylstone

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West yesterday.

About 7.20pm on Tuesday (2 November 2021), emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on Bylong Valley Way, about 5km from Rylstone.

Initial inquiries suggest the vehicle left the roadway after negotiating a bend and crashed into a tree.

The driver – a 54-year-old man – died at the scene.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and established a crime scene.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway and anyone who may have dashcam footage or information is urged to contact police immediately.

A report will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
