A man has died following a single-vehicle crash about 8km south of Gunnedah today, NSW Police say.
Just before 12.30pm (Wednesday 11 July 2018), emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway, near Pullaming Road, at Curlewis, following reports a motorcycle had crashed into a culvert.
The male motorcyclist died at the scene. His age is not known at this stage.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Kamilaroi Highway is closed in both directions with traffic diversions in place. Motorists are advised to check livetraffic.com.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
