Man dies after suspected fall, NSW

A man has died after sustaining a serious brain injury in Broken Hill after a suspected fall, NSW Police say.

About 1pm on Thursday 4 January 2018, a 51-year-old man was located unconscious at a home on Beryl Street, Broken Hill.

Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to Broken Hill Base Hospital where it was revealed he had suffered a brain injury. He died as a result of his injuries today (Friday 5 January 2018).

Police from Barrier Local Area Command have commenced investigations into the man’s death but there is no evidence at this time that this is suspicious.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
