A man has died after a vehicle explosion on the Central Coast today.
Just after 7am (Sunday 9 September 2020), emergency services responded to reports of an explosion in Quinalup Street, Gwandalan.
Bystanders found a man near the vehicle suffering serious burns and commenced CPR. He died at the scene.
NSW Fire and Rescue established an exclusion zone and residents have been evacuated from homes on Imga and Quinalup streets.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District have established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
