Sadly a 60-year-old man from Penguin has died as a result of a crash between two vehicles at Wivenhoe on Saturday.
Our thoughts are with the man's family and loved ones at this difficult time.
The man initially suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash between the silver Toyota Landcruiser and a Holden Colorado on Main Road about 2.20pm. The driver of the Colorado was not injured.
The driver of the Landcruiser was taken to the North-West Regional Hospital as a precaution, where his condition deteriorated yesterday morning and he passed away last night.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
