Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man on the state’s mid-north coast, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Moonee Beach, north of Coffs Harbour, about 12:25pm (Friday 21 December 2018), after reports a man was missing in the water.
A short time later witnesses pulled the unconscious man from the surf and commenced CPR until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics, but he died at the scene.
The man has been identified as a 60-year-old Swiss National.
