A man has died following an alleged assault at Queenscliff this morning, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to the corner of Pavilion Street and Bridge Road just after 6am (Sunday 4 November 2018), following reports of an assault.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended and found a man unconscious with serious head injuries.
He died en route to hospital. The man has not been formally identified but is believed to be aged in his 20s.
Another man was arrested at the scene and has been taken to Manly Police Station. His age isn’t yet known.
Inquiries are continuing.
