Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man whose truck crashed in the state’s west last night, NSW Police say.
About 7.45pm tomorrow, a south-bound truck carrying heavy mining equipment crossed to the incorrect side of the Kidman Way, south of Cobar, and rolled.
The driver, a 61-year-old man, died at the scene.
Police from Darling River Local Area Command are investigating the cause of the crash and whether fatigue or a medical episode could have contributed.
They are asking anyone with information about the crash who has not yet spoken to police to contact Crime Stoppers.
