A man has died in hospital following a shooting at Warwick Farm this afternoon, NSW Police say.
About 5.20pm (Sunday 22 July 2018), police attended a unit block on the corner of George Street and Lachlan Street following reports a man sustained a gunshot wound.
The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital by ambulance under a police escort, where he later died.
Several witnesses are currently assisting police with inquiries.
A crime scene has been established and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
