Man dies in caravan fire - Central Coast

A man has died following a fatal caravan fire on the Central Coast this morning.

About 4.40am today (Tuesday 18 January 2022), emergency services were called to a caravan park on Colmer Road, Marlow, following reports a caravan was well alight.

Crews from Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze a short time later.

Upon inspection of the caravan, a man was located deceased inside; he is yet to be formally identified.

Detectives from Brisbane Water Police District have established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
