The body of a man has been located after a house fire near Parkes this morning, NSW Police say.
About 7.45am today (Wednesday 13 June 2018), emergency services were called to a home on Long Street, Trundle, about 54kms north-west of Parkes, after reports of a fire.
After the blaze was extinguished by the Rural Fire Service NSW, the body of a man was located inside.
Officers from the Central West Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire, including whether or not it is suspicious.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
