Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Bulahdelah

Investigations are underway following a fatal single vehicle crash at Bulahdelah this morning, NSW Police say.

About 6.00am today, emergency services were called to Wootton Way, Bulahdelah, following reports a passer-by saw a Holden Commodore had struck a tree.

The male passenger in the Holden, aged in his 20s to 30s, died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

Officers from Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command attended and have established a crime scene.

Officers from the Newcastle and Kempsey Crash Investigation Unit will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the crash, and are especially interested in anyone with dash cam vision of the incident to contact Police via Crime Stoppers.
