A man has died, and a woman is seriously injured, following a crash on the state’s Central Coast today, NSW Police say.
Just after 12pm (Wednesday 26 September 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Georges Downs Drive and Springs Road at Kulnura, about 30km north-east of Gosford, after reports a Toyota Camry and a truck collided.
The male driver of the car died at the scene. He has not been formally identified.
A female passenger was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
The female truck driver was not injured. She has been taken to Wyong Public Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Traffic & Highway Patrol Command and Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
