A man has drowned on the Central Coast at the weekend.
About 4pm yesterday (Sunday 9 March 2020), witnesses saw a 46-year-old man enter Brisbane Water near Masons Parade, Gosford, to swim to a nearby yacht.
A short time later, the man was seen to be unresponsive in the water.
Emergency services arrived a short time later and retrieved the man from the water; he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
