Man in critical condition after being hit by bus, NSW

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Sydney's east this afternoon.

About 12.40pm (Monday 18 February 2019), emergency services were called to Anzac Parade, Moore Park, following reports a man was hit by a bus while crossing the road.

The man, aged 62, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition.

The bus driver, a 63-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.

Officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
