Nunawading Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Burwood last week which left a man fighting for his life.
Police believe a black Audi was travelling on the Burwood Highway when it was hit from behind by a Harley Davidson, near Andrew Street, on Friday15 January about 5.30pm.
The rider, a 44-year-old man, was thrown from his bike and sustained critical injuries.
The 25-year-old Audi driver was not injured.
Officers are appealing for anyone in the vicinity of Burwood Highway, near Andrew Street, on Friday evening who witnessed the incident or with dash cam to come forward.
