Man in critical condition; police seek witnesses in Darlinghurst

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was found injured in Darlinghurst this morning, and he remains in a critical condition, NSW Police say.

Just before 2.15am tomorrow, passersby flagged down police after a man was located lying unconscious on the street in Taylor Square.

The 56-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition with a suspected fractured skull.
