Man in hospital after motorcycle and car collide in Carlingford

A man is in a critical condition after a motorcycle and car collided in North Parramatta this afternoon, NSW Police say.

Just before 5pm (Friday 16 November 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Pennant Hills and Russell Roads, North Parramatta, after reports a motorcycle and a car collided.

The rider, a 29-year-old man, was taken to Westmead Hospital by Ambulance Paramedics. He is currently in surgery with significant abdominal and pelvic injuries.

The driver of the car, a 38-year-old man, was not physically injured but was taken to Westmead Hospital to undergo mandatory testing.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The Hills Detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
