Man Injured After Public Place Shooting At Guildford

A man has been taken to hospital after a public place shooting in Sydney's south west.

About 11pm on Wednesday 11 February 2026, emergency services were called to O'Connor Street, Guildford, following reports a man had been shot in the legs.

On arrival, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command located a 26-year-old man in a driveway.

Police were told the man had been walking on O'Connor Street when shots were fired from a dark-coloured hatchback, striking him in the right calf and left foot, before the vehicle left the scene.

Officers provided first aid to the man before he was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.

About 11.50pm the same day, police were called to O'Neill Street, Guildford, following reports shots had been fired into a home from a dark grey Hyundai i30 before it left the scene.

Police found three shots had been fired into a window.

The occupants of the home were not injured.

Police established crime scenes at both locations; however, at this time there is no confirmed link between the two incidents, and police believe two separate vehicles were involved.
