Man injured after seven force their way into Raymond Terrace home, NSW

A man was injured after seven people forced their way into a Raymond Terrace house overnight, NSW Police say.

About 9.25pm (Sunday 22 July 2018), a 40-year-old man was in the lounge room of his Tathra Street home.

He has answered a knock at the door when two women and five men forced their way through.

A fight has broken out and the 40-year-old man was assaulted with a baseball bat.

The man was treated at the scene for cuts to his head and arm. He was taken to John Hunter Hospital for further medical checks.

A seven-year-old boy and his 35–year-old mother were not injured,

Police from Port Stephens Police District were Computer equipment and a set of keys were taken

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
