Man injured in CBD balcony fall, South Australia

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after falling from a balcony of an apartment block in the city early this morning.

About 5.15am on Monday 21 October, police and paramedics were called to Hocking Place after a man was found unconscious on the ground.

The 29-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.

Police investigating the incident believe that the man fell from a third floor balcony trying to enter his apartment.

A second man was also treated by paramedics after he had fallen inside the apartment stairwell. He sustained only minor injuries.

There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
