Man Injured In Home Invasion - Georges Hall

A crime scene has been established at a property in Sydney's south west after a man was injured in a home invasion.

Emergency services were called to Sturt Avenue at Georges Hall just before 4am (Monday 1 April 2024), after reports of a home invasion.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended and were told three men forced entry to the granny flat at the rear of a home.

The intruders confronted the occupant, a 35-year-old man, before assaulting him and ransacking the home.

The man has been taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

A crime scene has been established which is being forensically examined by specialist officers.

Detectives have commenced an investigation into the incident.
