Man injured with samurai sword during home invasion - Mount Druitt

Police are appealing for information following an aggravated home invasion this morning in Mount Druitt.

Between 6.30am and 7am (Monday 4 October 2021), police were called to a house on Innes Crescent, Mount Druitt, following reports a man had been injured in a home invasion.

Police have been told four males entered the home, when one located and armed himself with a samurai sword and injured the sole occupant in the home.

The four males fled the scene in a vehicle and emergency services were called.

The injured 46-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor head injuries before being taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
