Man lucky to escape serious injuries at Port Wakefield, SA

Police are investigating the circumstances of a crash were a car was torn in half at Port Wakefield early this morning, according to SA Police.

About 5.40am, Thursday 20 September, police and SA Ambulance responded to reports of a crash on the Augusta Highway.

The driver, sole occupant of the car was travelling north on the highway when he hit a stobie pole. The 23-year man from the Copper Coast area was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with an arm injury.
