A man reported missing from Sydney's south-west last night has been located safe and well.
The 84-year-old man was last seen by family members at his home address on Phillips Avenue at Canterbury on Sunday 2 October 2022.
When he did not contact family on Tuesday 4 October 2022, police attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following a public appeal and a targeted geo-tracing message to the Canterbury area, the man was located safe and well by police in his house about 12.40am on Friday 7 October 2022.
Police thank the community and media for their assistance.
