A man reported missing from the state's west has been located safe and well.
The 56-year-old man was reported missing after he was last seen leaving a home in Darling Street, Dubbo, about 8am on Wednesday (18 January 2023).
When he did not return home and could not be contacted, he was reported missing to officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District, who commenced an investigation to locate him.
Following extensive inquiries, the man was located safe and well in Gilgandra about 5pm today (Friday 20 January 2023).
Police wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
