Man missing from Hunter region

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Hunter region.

Robert Peters, aged 75, was last seen leaving home on Worcester Drive at East Maitland just after 3.30pm today (Thursday 6 June 2019).

Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District were notified and despite an extensive search have been unable to locate Robert.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age and a medical condition.

Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, and clean shaven with receding white hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey jacket and blue denim jeans.

Robert may appear disorientated or confused and anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Maitland Police Station on (02) 4934 0200 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
